About Open Book

Through the generosity of the First Book non-profit organization, the library has access to an ebook application called Open Book. This app provides a variety of young adult titles, ranging from picture books to teen novels. Users can have up to 10 items downloaded at a time, and downloads books remain checked out for 56 days. 

How to Access Open Book

Any patron of the D Brown Library can ask at the front desk for a free access code and instructions to create an account. The Open Book application can be downloaded on various devices such as phones and tablets. Once a book has been downloaded, it is available offline. The library Wifi can be used to download the application and ebooks. Please ask the library staff for any assistance!
